The Louisiana Nursing Home Association is the trade association which represents more than 260 licensed proprietary and non-proprietary nursing homes in Louisiana.

LNHA was established in 1957 with the first objective being to maintain high standards of professional care, operation and administration of licensed nursing homes in Louisiana. Today, guided by a 20-member board of directors, that concern is still a top priority of LNHA.

Some of the many services LNHA provides for its member facilities include governmental regulations, health care education programs, a self insurance program, group purchasing, community involvement and public relations programs. Through programs, education and legislative action by its membership, LNHA is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our more than 33,000 nursing facility residents.
