Seminar Information:

Louisiana Nursing Home Association would like to cordially invite DONs, ADONs and LTC RNs to "The D.O.N. Boot Camp Seminar" sponsored by Broussard Group, HCC, LCC. This seminar will address all of the key aspects of serving as the Director of Nursing in a Long-Term Care facility. Melanie Dosher-Lansing and Gay Nell Barth will present topics that will give you the correct tools to successfully perform the duties of Director of Nursing in a Long-Term Care facility.

The D.O.N. Boot Camp seminar is designed to equip Registered Nurses to serve in the role of Director of Nursing. The target audience includes D.O.N.s, A.D.O.N.s and staff RNs. Administrators are also welcome. The workshop fee includes instruction, handouts, workbook and lunch.

Embassy Suites Hotel Baton Rouge (225.924.6566) is near the meeting location; hotel rooms are available for $119.00 per night (must mention LNHA for this rate). Other nearby hotels are located in the College Drive/I-10 area.

So that we may properly prepare for the seminar, we ask that you pre-register by May 30, 2008. Please fill out the attached registration form (PDF), attach a check or money order and mail it to the address shown on the form. Upon receipt of your registration form and payment, a confirmation card will be mailed back you to confirming your registration.
